About the artwork

This photograph represent the idea of compulsive hoard. Hoarding is a relativety unknown disorder in which the person store up all the things he is unable to let go. Since hoarding has some roots in the idea of dying I decided to 'hoard' dried flower, which are a way to represent something that was once beauty, but is being kept far beyond their purpose.

About the artist

Born in italy, after graduated from the academy of fine arts of Bologna in Communication and Art Teaching, Denise Ugolini discovered the beauty of photography, an art she has been self teaching ever since.
